Hollande starts 2 day state visit to Morocco

(MENAFN- Arab News) PARIS: French President Francois Hollande is arriving in Morocco for a two-day visit aimed at strengthening cooperation against terrorism and boosting economic partnership with the former colony that counts France as its leading foreign investor.
Hollande will meet with Moroccan King Mohammed VI Saturday and make a series of visits in Tangier the north African country's third biggest city and one of the largest ports in the Mediterranean Sea.
Counterterrorism and the fight against radicalization are on the top of the agenda.
Both countries are deeply concerned by the large numbers of citizens leaving to fight with the Daesh group in Syria and Iraq.
Hollande's visit marks the reconciliation between the two countries following diplomatic tensions last year.
