Spain's auto production up 13.6 percent in July

(MENAFN) Spain's vehicle production rose by 13.6 percent in July, according to figures released by the Association of Car Manufacturers (ANFAC).

Spanish factories have manufactured 264,718 units in July this year, while manufacturing 1,722,421 units in the first seven months of the year, which meant a 12.9 percent increase when compared with the same period of a year earlier.

The rise in production is due to a rise in both domestic and external demand, which make Spanish factories work more in order to satisfy demand.

The number of private cars manufactured until July reached 1,388,697, rising by 19.7 percent when compared with the same period of a year earlier, while the number of commercial and industrial vehicles fell by 5.7 percent to 320,007.
