Jordan- King presents Supreme Commander's Flag to fighter squadrons


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), presented the Supreme Commander's Flag to three fighter squadrons of the Moufaq al-Salti Airbase in a military ceremony at the base.

The Royal honor comes in recognition of the heroism of the pilots of the first, second and sixth fighter squadrons and in assertion of the Arab Army's message to in defending the homeland and people. The ceremony was attended by royal family members, the prime minister and top military and civic officials. F-16 fighter squadrons flew above the venue during the event.

The Supreme Commander's Flag, which is presented by the King himself in a military ceremony, is the highest military honor to combat units of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.
