(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Philippines longest running Sunday Variety ASAP 20 recently celebrated two decades at London's SSE Wembley Arena. The historic event gathered drew a crowd of 10,000, mostly Filipinos based in the UK and all over Europe.
Some of the highlights of ASAP 20 Live in London, which was taped as live for two ASAP 20 episodes, the first of which was livestreamed on ABS-CBN mobile in the Philippines, included an All-Star opening number that saw the stars singing and dancing to OPM classics, and an energetic patriotic performance led by Bamboo. Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, Jed Madela, Lani Misalucha also did a rendition of West End Medley, while legendary British band Spandau Ballet brought the house down with their classic hits.
