S. Korea's GS Engineering awarded USD306m contract in Kuwait


(MENAFN) South Korea's GS Engineering and Construction Co. announced winning a deal to build a water treatment plant worth USD306 million, media reports showed.

The deal, awarded by the state-run Kuwait Oil Co., is to construct water treatment facilities in the North Oil Field, 90 kilometers north of Kuwait City, South Korea's (Yonhap) News Agency reported.

The project will be finalized by September of 2018, the South Korean firm confirmed. Since 2010, GS Engineering has clinched a slew of construction projects, such as oil facilities.
