UAE envoy meets head of Lebanon s HRA

BEIRUT 16th September 2015 (WAM) - UAE Ambassador to Beirut Hamad Saeed Sultan Al Shamsi met here today with the Head of Lebanon's Higher Relief Authority (HRA) General Mohammed Khair.

During the meeting the progress of the UAE's humanitarian projects in Lebanon was discussed.

General Mohammed Khair praised the UAE's pioneering role in providing aid and supporting the Lebanese government in caring for the displaced Syrians. He also thanked the UAE for its generous contributions and expressed the hope for more cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Al Shamsi renewed UAE's commitment to humanitarian and relief work under the directives of the country's wise leadership.
