Hyundai Engineering to build USD74m power plant in Philippines
(MENAFN) Hyundai Engineering Co., South Korean Construction Company, has just secured a USD74 million order to construct a power plant in the Philippines.
The huge deal was signed with Philippines' number one geothermal energy producer, the Energy Development Corporation, according to reports.
Under the agreement, Hyundai Engineering will build a 31-megawatt geothermal power facility on the island of Luzon in the Southeast Asian country.
The well reputed South Korean construction firm is the only builder in the country that has carried out geothermal power plant projects overseas.
