(MENAFN) According to dmg, the organizers of The Big 5 Kuwait, the gulf country is thriving with USD188 billion of construction projects which are currently underway.
The demand for high-quality infrastructure is seen clearly in several multi-billion dollar projects including USD7 billion Kuwait Metro project and USD3.3 billion Kuwait International Airport.
The infrastructure projects also include the USD2.6 billion Subiya Causeway, USD15 billion Al Zour New Refinery Project and the USD6.2 billion motorway construction.
"Kuwait has earmarked USD7.2 billion from its annual budget for 2015-2016 for the construction sector and accelerated the sector's growth," Event Director of The Big 5 Kuwait said.
