(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Nine-time winner Dhofar and defending champion Al Arouba began their campaign in the 2015-2016 Omantel Professional League (OPL) on a winning note on Monday.
In the first match of the evening Dhofar beat Al Shabab 2-0 at the Seeb Sports Stadium while Arouba beat hosts Salalah 3-1 at the Al Saada Sports Complex in a late game.
Elsewhere hosts Sohar stunned former champion and HM's Cup runner-up Sur 2-1 at the Sohar Sports Complex. Al Khabourah was hosting Saham at the Sohar Sports Complex in a late game.
