(MENAFN- Arab Times) As part of its social responsibility strategy, Burgan Bank announced today that it is sponsoring Tareq Al Qallaf, Kuwait's world champion wheelchair fencer, on his journey to participate in the USA Fencing Championship. The championship will take place in Richmond, Virginia from 9 € 12 October, 2015 and at Louis, Missouri from 8 € 11 January, 2016.
The bank's sponsorship comes in line with its commitment to supporting Kuwait's world titleholders in raising the Kuwaiti flag at worldwide arenas.
Al Qallaf participated in more than 70 competitions across the region and the world over the past 30 years, bagging 26 gold medals. He is well on his way to take part in the USA Fencing Championship, where he aims to retain his worldwide title and achieve 1st place. Burgan Bank's sponsorship of Al Qallaf springs from its belief that his talent has defied all odds and has led him to win top accolades at international championship.
