(MENAFN- Arab News) In cooperation with the Ministry of Health (MoH) Sanofi recently launched a campaign to raise the awareness level of the pilgrims toward the common diseases that can affect them during the Haj and the preventive procedures that should be taken during their journey through the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah.
This campaign is an answer to the continuous concern expressed by the health authorities and Sanofi about the health of millions of prospective Haj pilgrims who will come to Saudi Arabia to perform the annual pilgrimage.
The educational tips feature mass information about health requirements of Haj in addition to advisory information that should be followed by all pilgrims to enjoy a healthy Haj.
The educational tips are categorized into 3 main categories infectious diseases Haj wellbeing tips and acute diseases.
Sanofi also stressed the significance of Haj mandatory vaccinations for all pilgrims and address diseases like cholera dengue fever flu and meningitis showcasing the precautionary measures that should be considered.
