(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) U.S.-led coalition conducts 25 air strikes against Daesh militants Washington, Sep.14 (Petra)-A U.S.-led coalition early Monday in a statement said it struck Daesh terrorist group with 25 air strikes in Iraq and Syria.
The Combined Joint Task Force statement further explained that 18 air strikes were launched in Iraq and seven in Syria.
The strikes in Iraq, coordinated with the Iraqi government, hit the group's buildings, weapons and tactical units near Falluja, Mosul, Ramadi and other locations, the statement said.
In Syria, two strikes destroyed seven Daesh fighting positions and a tank near Al Hawl. Five other strikes targeted the militant group near Al Raqqah, Kobani and Mar'a, according to the statement.
