Jordan- Poland inaugurates teaching computer lab in Aqaba


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Polish Ambassador in Amman, Krzysztof Bojko, inaugurated a teaching computer laboratory at Abdulla bin Qais Al Harithy Primary School for Boys in Aqaba governorate south of Amman.

A statement by the Polish embassy Monday said the project is part of social development projects financed by the polish development cooperation program and implemented in Jordan.

This is the 9th project being implemented in Aqaba and the 15th in the Kingdom.

The computer lab contains 17 desktops, printers and data show that are provided with the latest technology to help students develop their skills, the statement added.

During the ceremony, which was attended by Polish Honorary Consul in Aqaba, Mazen Kawar, Aqaba Governor, the school principle and other concerned parties, the embassy organized "The Polish Day" which included posters, exhibition and screening a movie that reflects the cultural and historical development in Poland.
