Federal Supreme Court acquits Emirati youth of trying to join Daesh

ABU DHABI 14th September 2015 (WAM) -- The State Security District of the Federal Supreme Court has acquitted a 19-year old Emirati youth S.I.M. of the charge of seeking to join the terrorist group Daesh.

In another case the court said that on 21st September it will issue its verdict in the case of a GCC national. K.F.A. who is charged with defaming state symbols and spreading false news and rumours in a televised interview.

The court also adjourned until 5th October the hearings in the case of a GCC national M.S.H. accused of insulting state symbols and circulating false news and rumours to hear the defence pleading.
