Joint Saudi Venezuelan Committee holds first meeting in Caracas


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Caracas Dhu AlQa'dah 301436 14 September2015 SPA -- The Technical Committee of Joint Saudi-Venezuelan Committee held today a preparatory meeting for the meetings of the Committee at its first session from 14 to 17 September in the Venezuelan capital of Caracas.
The Committee will discuss a number of topics of mutual cooperation between the two countries in various areas including commercial industrial investment financial oil health education agriculture tourism and media cooperation as well as foreign affairs and cooperation between the private sectors.
It is worth mentioning that the trade exchange between the two countries reached in the year 2014 SR 31 million representing Saudi exports amounting to SR 28 million to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and imports from Venezuela worth SR three million; while the number of joint Saudi-Venezuelan ventures operating in the Kingdom stood at 8 industrial and non Industrial projects with a total capital of SR 35 million.
