GCC Ministerial Council to Hold Session in Riyadh Tuesday


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The GCC Ministerial Council is set to hold its 136th session in Riyadh on Tuesday.

The GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani said in a press statement that the Council will discuss a number of topics including the march of the GCC joint works, recommendations of the ministerial committees on issues related to the promotion of cooperation and integration among the GCC countries and procedures that had been taken to implement decisions of Supreme Council and Ministerial Council.

He added that the GCC foreign ministers will mull topics that will be discussed by the GCC states , a number of countries and international groups during the UN General Assembly in New York at the end of the current month.

They will deliberate the latest regional and international developments, particularly situation in Yemen, Syria, Libya , the occupied Palestine and international efforts to combat terrorism, he added.
