GCC Ministerial Council to hold its136 session in Riyadh

RIYADH 14th September 2015 (WAM) -- The Ministerial Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States GCC will hold its 136th session tomorrow at the Headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh headed by Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah Qatari Foreign Minister and Chairman of the current session of the Ministerial Council with the participation of Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani Secretary-General of the GCC.

Dr. Al Zayani has said that the Ministerial Council will discuss a number of topics related to the march of GCC joint action and what has been adopted by the Ministerial Committees of recommendations on issues related to strengthening cooperation and integration among the GCC countries as well as what has been done to implement the resolutions of the Supreme Council and the Ministerial Council.

He explained that the GCC Foreign Ministers will look at topics that will be discussed between the GCC States and a number of countries and international groups during the work of the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York at the end of September as well as discuss the latest regional and international developments particularly the situation in Yemen Syria Libya and occupied Palestine and international efforts to combat terrorism.
