During the thundershowers, the wind speed is expected to reach 30 knots in inshore areas and visibility is likely to come down to 3km or less. Inshore areas will see hazy conditions, along with local cloud development and there is a chance of rain and thunder in some places by the afternoon, according to the weather office. Offshore areas will be hazy and partly cloudy with a chance of scattered rain. The maximum temperature is expected to be around the 40C-mark at most places, with Al Ruwais having the lowest forecast of 36C. In Doha, the temperature will be in the range of 32-40C.
