Egypt- 53% approval rate for Mehleb before resignation


(MENAFN- Daily News Egypt) Outgoing prime minister Ibrahim Mahleb had a public approval rating of 53% two days before his resignation, according to the Egyptian Center for Public Opinion Research (Baseera).

Baseera said Monday that he had the best rating of any prime minister since the 2011 revolution.

Baseera, whose polls have previously been disputed, said that his approval varied from 50%-70% throughout his tenure, but two days before he submitted his resignation letter, 3% said his performance was poor, 17% said that his performance was average, and 26% were undecided.
