UAE- Fight with client leads to arrest of prostitute

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times)A 28-year-old woman faced prostitution charges in the Court of First Instance on Sunday. The Pakistani woman was arrested on July 20 and has been in custody since then.

A policeman said they were informed about a problem around midnight outside a hotel on Shaikh Zayed Road.

"The woman had met a man at a night club at the hotel and offered him to have sex with her for Dh2000". But she then settled for Dh1500. On the way to his place in a cab they had a fight about the price as she wanted to increase it. The driver pulled over and dropped them and they called the police. "The man who was with her confirmed her version of story."

The two admitted to the police officers that they had consumed alcohol while the woman also confessed that she worked as a prostitute. The hearing has been adjourned to September 27.
