Gulf Warehousing Company staff donate 70 units of blood

Doha: Employees of Gulf Warehousing Company (QSC) the leading logistics provider in the region has donated over 70 units of blood during a donation drive held at its Street 15 premises on September 10.

In cooperation with Hamad Medical Corporation the company invited its employees to participate in the blood donation drive through an extended internal campaign. The result was the arrival of 97 employees who exemplified the spirit of giving and volunteerism encouraged by Gulf Warehousing Company.

GWC Group CEO Ranjeev Menon commended both GWC employees and the HMC for ensuring that the campaign was a success and said: “As part of our larger responsibility to the local society we will continue to reach out in meaningful ways that promote the well-being of Qatari society and that of the nation.”

GWC and HMC have repeatedly cooperated to organise blood drives which resulted most recently in GWC being honoured during HMC World Blood Donor Day which drew attention to more than 400 blood donors and a number of local organisations that have especially contributed to the HMC blood drives.
