US drone strike kills 5 rebels in E. Afghanistan
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) At least five rebels were killed in a United States led drone strike in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province, said a security source on Sunday.
A police source confirmed the incident, adding that the five militants were traveling via car when the air strike occurred.
Drone strikes came at a time when Afghan national forces are combating the Taliban rebels after NATO/ISAF forces left the country in December last year.
