(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) A slight drop in temperatures is expected Sunday, but they will remain 3-5 degrees above their seasonal average. Therefore, it will be relatively hot in Amman and the hilly areas and hot in other parts of the Kingdom with clouds at various altitudes.
According to the Jordan Metrological Department, light rain is expected in the southern and eastern regions while winds will be north westerly moderate to brisk in the afternoon.
Similar weather conditions will continue to prevail on Monday with northwesterly moderate winds.
Temperatures in Amman will range between a high of 35 degrees Celsius and a low of 26 while in the Gulf of Aqaba mercury levels will reach 41 degrees Celsius dropping down to 30 degrees.
