UAE chairs Arab foreign ministers meeting tomorrow in Cairo

Cairo 12th Sept. 2015 (WAM)The UAE will chair the 144th Ordinary Session of the Arab League's Council at the foreign ministers' level at the AL's Secretariat-General in the Egyptian capital Cairo tomorrow.

In the presence of AL Secretary-General Dr. Nabil Al Araby the foreign ministers will discuss a wide range of issues concerning the Arab joint action mainly the current political economic and social developments and the draft resolutions prepared by the permanent representatives during their meetings over the last two days.

Stressing the importance of the meeting Ahmed ben Heli AL's Deputy Secretary-General said ''It is convened amidst tremendous challenges the Arab region is passing through.'' He said that latest situation in Yemen will figure high on the agenda especially following the martyrdom of a number of Emirati Saudi and Bahrain servicemen there. The latest situation in Syria Libya Iraq and Palestine will also be discussed.
