Speaking to Proactive Whitford says the firm has an opportunity to be a true 'counter-cyclical player' and secure real assets to form the basis of a cost-effective production portfolio. At the same time the company has received a requisition from a group of shareholders including former interim chairman Daniel Levi for an EGM to remove some directors from the board. In response Whitford has called on shareholders to get behind new chairman Jossy Rachmantio and the current board.
