UAE- RTA briefs ADCO delegation about bus transport practices

ABU DHABI 10th September 2015 (WAM) -- The Public Transport Agency at the Roads and Transport Authority RTA recently briefed a visiting delegation representing the Transport and Supply Team at Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Petroleum Operations ADCO on the best international practices relating to bus transit services for employees.

Mohammed Abdulla Al Ali Director of Buses at Public Transport Agency gave an elaborate explanation to the visiting delegation covering an introduction about the RTA and the range of services it delivers to various spectrums of the community. He touched on the bus services of the Public Transport Agency offered by different types of buses such as the standard double-deck and articulated buses as well as the Bus Control Centre and Bus Depots in addition to a briefing about bus performance indicators.

Delegation members included Arif Abdul Hameed Al Sayyed Deputy Head of Supply Mubarak Mabkhoot Al Obaidly Director of Transport and Saad Uddin Sabra Head of Logistical Services Team at ADCO.

"The RTA is seeking to bolster government efforts aimed not only to achieve customer satisfaction but also making them happier. This can best be achieved through availing them all means of benefiting from our diverse services especially the smart services characterised by innovation and excellence which are always encouraged and implemented by the RTA at world-class standards" added Al Ali.

Arif Abdul Hameed Al Sayyed expressed his deep delight with the visit. He offered thanks and appreciation to the RTA in Dubai represented by the Public Transport Agency and the huge efforts it makes in delivering superior services capable of bringing happiness to public transport users and beneficiaries of various services of the RTA.

"We hope that this meeting will usher the start of more effective cooperation and joint business between the RTA and ADCO in the interest of sharing experiences and knowledge. We believe that such a meeting will clear the way for benefiting from mutual practices for the sake of the public interest and recipients of services at both parties in order to make beneficiaries happier" added Al Sayyed.
