Saudi- Just a politician

(MENAFN- Arab News) I used to be a great admirer of Myanmar's Aung San Suu Kyi but her eerie silence over the plight of Muslims in her country changed my views about her. Being a Noble Peace laureate Suu Kyi should have been very vocal about minority rights in Myanmar but she proved to be yet another politician. Another fact is very disturbing i.e. the top Buddhist religious authorities did not play an effective role in ensuring the protection of minorities in Myanmar. Had any Muslim group committed such atrocities the entire world would have blamed Islam. Rahila Yawar Jubail
