(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Wency Cornejo on Tuesday criticized Jovit Baldivino, the first grand winner of Pilipinas Got Talent, for his supposed lack of respect during a scheduled performance at Labangal, General Santos City.
On Facebook, the former AfterImage vocalist narrated the incident wherein he claimed that the 21-year-old Baldivino sang Renee De La Rosa's Pusong Bato despite being told otherwise.
"I went to the show last night at Gen San. It's sad that there are performers like Jovit Baldovino who doesn't know how to give respect to fellow musicians," he said, referring to the original songwriter and performer De La Rosa who was present at the venue to sing his song.
He added that though organisers has requested Baldovino not to sing the piece, the latter still went ahead with it. "It just goes to show, it is very hard to teach humility, respect and class," he added.
