Tariq Hilal Lootah Undersecretary of Ministry of State for FNC Affairs and Head of the Elections Management Committee said the FNC has selected the polling stations after a detailed study and assessment of a number of aspects such as geographical distribution of electoral authorities and the availability of service and infrastructural requirements.

Other aspects include the compliance of polling stations to set designs and criteria approved by the committee responsible for preparing polling stations in addition to sufficient availability of parking spaces and other facilities for voters.

"From the outset the FNC has been committed to implementing the national elections in accordance with the highest standards of professionalism and transparency. Voters will be able to exercise their franchise at any convenient location as there are a large number of polling stations all across the country" Lootah added.
