Eleven people arrested for rioting during Malaysia, Saudi match


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) At least 11 people have been arrested for causing riot on Tuesday during World Cup qualifier match between Malaysia and Saudi Arabia at Shah Alam Stadium.
All the individuals would be undergoing remand hearings at the Shah Alam Courts this morning, a police official at Shah Alam Said.
Malaysia's World Cup qualifier against Saudi Arabia was abandoned yesterday after fans angerly hurled flares billowing smoke at the pitch.
The game between Malaysia and Saudi Arabia has been stopped by the referee. Further decisions will be made by FIFA.
