Nikkei soars 7.7 per cent
(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Tokyo Dhu-AlQa'dah 25 1436 September 09 2015 SPA -- Japan's benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average surged
7.7 per cent on Wednesday gaining more than 1300 points as
sentiment was bolstered by a weaker yen and overnight rallies on Wall
Street and in European markets dpa reported.
The Nikkei added 1343.43 points or 7.71 per cent to close at
18770.51 after losing 2.43 per cent on Tuesday.
The broader Topix index rose 90.66 points or 6.4 per cent to end at
1507.37. The Topix lost 2 per cent on Tuesday.
