DOHA: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 110.49 points or 0.98 percent Tuesday when it closed at 11430.47 points.
The market cap increased to QR603.31bn from QR598bn registered Monday.The daily turnover increased to QR313.53m with a volume of 7183721 shares from 4603 transactions compared with QR237.15m with a volume of 5560532 shares from 3901 transactions on Monday reports QNA.
Indices of all sectors ended in the green with transport gaining the most up 2.69 percent to 2408 points followed by insurance 1.56 percent to 4624.03 points.
From the 43 companies listed on QSE shares of 41 exchanged hands today. From these 33 gained six dropped and two remained unchanged.
