Now DHA staff can have a say in health strategy

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times)Dubai Health Authority (DHA) employees now have the opportunity to suggest ideas and initiatives that the authority can implement. An employee engagement initiative called Virtual Interactive Health Forum lets employees make suggestions for formulating the Dubai Health Strategy.

In the first phase of the engagement initiative the authority has invited its employees to provide their ideas and initiatives via the online forum. Employees have until September 16 to register.

Via the online forum employees can see initiatives suggested by their colleagues and even 'like' them. This will help gauge the most popular initiatives.

At a later stage the authority will also undertake active engagement programmes with the private health sector health experts and community members in Dubai so that all stakeholders concerned get an opportunity to provide their ideas and feedback for the strategy.

Humaid Al Qatami Chairman of the Board of Directors of DHA said "Our aim is to develop a strategy for the Dubai health sector that takes into consideration the needs of every stakeholder the nuances of the health sector in Dubai and is in line with best international practices.

"In order to effectively cater to the current and future healthcare needs of every individual - from the youngest born neonate to the elderly - it is imperative that we formulate our strategy after taking into consideration inputs from all stakeholders."
