(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Monday, honored HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal with the Order of the Hashemite Star, in recognition of his outstanding contributions and services to the Kingdom for many years.
During a ceremony held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of establishing of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), the King also honored HRH Prince Rashid Bin Al Hassan with the Order of Hussein Ibn Ali of First Class, for his contributions in serving the country and chairing of JHCO Board of Trustees.
His Majesty the King also honored with the Order of Independence of First Class to the Civil-Military Affairs Directorate at the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army, and to JHCO former Secretaries-General, in recognition of their efforts in serving the organization march and achieving its humanitarian noble mission .
During the ceremony, held at Basman Palace, His Majesty the King and the attendees watched a movie that highlighted JHCO achievements over 25 years.
The ceremony was attended by senior civilian and military officials, and a number of supporting figures of the JHCO humanitarian work.
