(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) President of the European Council Donald Tusk will pay a visit to Turkey on Wednesday to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in refugee affairs.
Tusk will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He will also meet Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Thursday. The European official intends to pay a visit to one of the Turkish refugees camps to inspect the situation of the Syrian refugees.
Last week, Tusk stressed the need to activate the EU-Turkish cooperation on refugees during the EU Ambassadors' Conference in Brussels.
