UN Yemen Envoy denies reports on leakage of internal UN correspondence
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The UN Special Envoy for Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, on Tuesday is disturbed by press reports regarding the leak of internal United Nations correspondence.
"The content of these reports, especially in some Yemeni media outlets and Internet sites, constitute distortions and misinterpretations. These reports do not reflect the position of the Special Envoy or of the United Nations", said Ould Cheikh Ahmed in a very shrot press release from his office.
The Special Envoy assured that he will continue his efforts with all Yemeni parties to reach a peaceful and durable solution.
