Poland to lend USD112m to Ukraine

(MENAFN) Poland has permitted a USD112 million loan to Ukraine, which is expected to be finalized on Wednesday during Ukrainian Prime Minister visit to Poland.

Ukraine has recently been relying more on external funding to revive its stagnant economy through a recession that's gone too deep into the country alongside a high inflation.

Poland isn't the first to come to Ukraine's rescue, as the International Monetary Fund has already passed an USD17.5 billion assistance package stretched on a four-year period.

"Polish government decided that it would give Ukraine 100 million loan to finance exports of goods and services from Poland to Ukraine," as stated by Poland's government.
