Injaz Qatar hosts appreciation event

DOHA: Injaz Qatar a non-profit organisation and member of Junior Achievement Worldwide recently hosted an annual appreciation event for sponsors volunteers and corporate partners in Doha recognising their contribution to Injaz’s work inspiring and preparing young people to become Qatar’s future business leaders.

Sheikha Hanadi bin Nasser bin Khaled Al Thani Chairwoman and Emad Al Khaja Executive Director Injaz Qatar led the event recognising the successful completion of the academic year 2014-2015 for Injaz and the input the event attendees had given as tutors mentors and financial contributors. The appreciation event guests comprising of leading business and academic figures were presented with certificates and awards and were joined by Injaz Qatar’s Board Members and staff.

Commenting on another successful year at Injaz Qatar Sheikha Hanadi said: “Injaz has experienced a further period of growth helping prepare the next generation of business leaders — supporting Qatar’s National Vision. We continue to do this by introducing programs like work readiness entrepreneurship and financial literacy to the country’s young people about to enter employment. As part of this process we invite companies to participate as sponsors and volunteer mentors on these programmes with a view to preparing our future leaders in the best possible way. Today’s event is the perfect opportunity to thank our supporters for their incredible contributions which are greatly appreciated by Injaz and our students.”

Expressing his gratitude to the volunteers and corporate partners Emad Al Khaja Executive Director Injaz Qatar added: “We are delighted to see all of the people behind Injaz Qatar’s success sitting under one roof. Our volunteers and partners are the main reason why we are able to continue to develop our work year on year — we are incredibly appreciative .Their contributions are a great way of giving back to the Qatari society as we all aim to educate the young students and help them throughout their journey into employment. It is our hope that the cycle will continue with the students of today becoming the volunteers and partners of the future continuing the proud tradition of giving back to this community.”
