Kuwaiti FM Meets OIC Chief, UN Official
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah met here on Sunday with the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Ameen Madani and his accompanying delegation.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the organization's upcoming program and the latest developments in the region.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, separately, met with the UNRWA Commissioner-General Pierre Krenpol to discuss the role played by the United Nations in giving relief to the Palestine refugees in the Near East.
The meeting also tackled the UN's humanitarian work in alleviating the suffering of the refugees and Kuwait's support to UNRWA.
