(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Mashreq Qatar has launched a "Back to School" promotion to ease payments for its credit card customers.
With this, customers can pay school fees in easy instalments over three months with zero interest.
"In today's ever more competitive world, obtaining the right education for children, in an affordable manner, is a key consideration for all parents. Mashreq Qatar is supporting these aspirations by offering parents the convenience of paying school fees over an extended period and without any additional interest or fees," the bank said in a statement yesterday.
Mashreq Qatar credit card holders can pay their children's education fee to any school locally and then convert their transaction to an interest-free, Easy Payment Plan for up to three months by calling the bank. The promotion is valid until September 30.
Niranjan Mendonca, head of retail banking at Mashreq Qatar Doha, said: "We want to offer simplified banking solutions to assist our customers. We understand the objective of parents in giving their children the best education and are offering assistance through easing up the school fees payment options.
"With zero-interest instalments for customers paying school fees through our credit card, Mashreq is letting all parents know that we are here to support them. All they have to do is get in touch with us and we will do the rest."
To enrol in the "Back to School" promotion, Mashreq Qatar cardholders can call 44083333 after the transactions are completed. Mashreq's call centre agents will convert the
transaction into an instalment plan.
