The Twittersphere was filled with messages of condolences for the men who lost their lives in Yemen and "45 UAE" was trending on UAE Twitter. Users on Twitter like ئSultanAlQassemi said: "I expect UAE to declare a day of mourning. This is devastating." Another user popular Radio Jockey of Virgin Radio ئKrisFade tweeted: "Rest in Peace to the 45 UAE nationals." Iman Ben Chaibah ئImanBenChaibah tweeted: "45 of our brave soldiers were killed in Yemen. This is a very sad day for the UAE and all Emiratis. We all mourn them just the same." ئAmalSweetTweet said: "RIP to the brave Emirati soldiers killed in Yemen." ئMahirVrazalic tweeted: "My condolence to UAE for loss of brave 45 soldiers. May Allah grant them heaven." ئMissAbuDhabi tweeted: "Sad to hear about the 45 soldiers. When will all this evil stop?" Facebook too was flooded with condolence messages. Asyah Elisabeth Mel said: "The martyred soldiers are heroes of UAE. They were (on a) mission for the UAE; a mission for a better world for peace in Arab world and Muslims across the world." Rosie Jane Quino said: "Heartfelt condolences to the families of the 45 UAE Soldiers who lost their lives in Yemen. God bring peace to the world."
