(MENAFN) Iran has announced through its Petrochemical Commercial firm's executive director that it exported 2.2 million tons of petrochemical products in the six months to August, estimated at USD1.5 billion.

In more detail, 16 shipments of liquefied petroleum gas weighing 218,000 tons were distributed bringing in USD87 million in the March-August period, based on reports.
