Jordan reports third death case of coronavirus


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Jordan's Health Ministry reported Saturday a third death case caused by the Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS CoV), a 77-years-old citizen who who diagnozed as having the virus during a previous medical test.
The deceased was admitted to a private hospital in the Jordanian capital suffering from a lung cancer, Dr. Mohammad Al-Abdullat, director of the infectious diseases hospital said in a press statement.
He added that the ministry has so far recorded seven cases of coronavirus, three of them had died.
Fourteen MERS cases have been recorded in Jordan since 2012, according to official data.
