Iceland's trade deficit down to USD162.8m in August


(MENAFN) Iceland saw the deficit in its balance of trade in goods decrease to USD162.8 million in August from USD33.85 million in July, Statistics Iceland said.

Preliminary figures show the value of exported goods amounted to over USD36.39 million, while the value of imported goods amounted to almost USD38.01 million in August.

Compared with July, the value of exported goods in August decreased USD3.54 million, while the value of imported goods decreased USD5.38 million.
