FUNDING CAMPAIGN AIMS TO SUPPORT AMERICAN AUTHOR’S BOOK TOUR

Author Announces A New Way To Travel Educating The World

Henderson NV September 3rd 2015—Dr. Annmarie Edwards the author of “Peewee the Ladybug and the Jamaica Freedom Jamboree” has started an online funding campaign with the goal of raising $10000 to promote the book during a tour of Jamaica.

“The tour will take place from October 8th to October 12th and lead fans of the book through its historical adventure incorporating a stay at the Sunset Beach Resort and Spa in Montego Bay a sunset cruise to Negril a Dolphin Cove excursion and a Bob Marley experience tour” she says. The trip also includes optional excursions to Morant Bay where the 1865 rebellion took place and Port Antonio in Portland the home of jerk pork and chicken.

Donations will be used in these areas:

1) Printing 1000 books 500 of which will be donated to schools in Jamaica free

2) Hiring a publicist on the ground in Jamaica

3) Covering travel expenses including airfare hotel tours and transportation

4) Printing 200 T-shirts

5) Printing 100 journals and other souvenirs

The funding she receives will help Dr. Edwards realize her goal of “serving as an ambassador to the world spreading literacy and preserving the history that shaped our culture” she says. She invites everyone to donate to and spread the word about this campaign which will keep an important and impactful event alive for the next generation of Jamaicans. About the Book
