(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) A number of wanted suspects were arrested following police raids that took place in different places and times, the Public Security Department (PSD) said on Thursday.
A detailed statement by the PSD media center said that Criminal Investigation Department (CID) personnel arrested several suspects, who were wanted on different charges including armed robbery, theft, fraud, car thefts, fake gold and counterfeit dollars.
Badia Criminal Investigation personnel, arrested a wanted man, who has been in hiding for ten years after raiding his house in the Central Badia region. The suspect has 68 criminal records mainly fraud, armed robbery, fake gold and counterfeit dollars, the statement added.
In another case, CID personnel stormed a house in Madaba governorate and arrested three suspects, including a dangerous wanted, with 62 criminal cases.
CID officer also ambushed and arrested another criminal in Balqa governorate, who has 35 criminal cases.
