Burma registers USD1.8 trade deficit in current fiscal year


(MENAFN) Burma logged a trade deficit of USD1.8 billion in the April-July period of its current fiscal year, with overall trade totaling to USD9.2 billion.

Total trade capacity reached USD3 billion in July alone, with export taking up USD1 billion and import demonstrating USD1.9 billion.

Furthermore, Burma registered a trade deficit of USD4.9 billion in the previous fiscal year, according to released data, indicating that things don't look good.
