Police College marks Emirati Women's Day

ABU DHABI 3rd September 2015 (WAM) -- The Police College in Abu Dhabi has marked the Emirati Women's Day with a ceremony to honour female applicants in recognition of their efforts to develop and improve police work.

During the ceremony which was held at the Relations and Guidance Section Colonel Saif Al Ketbi Police College Director honoured 12 female applicants.

Colonel Al Ketbi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Police College's applicants commending their commitment to provide the Ministry of Interior's different institutions with highly qualified staff. He also noted that female applicants have established a solid partnership with their colleagues and are a qualitative addition to the institutional work process thanks to their instrumental role in the field of development and modernisation.

Lt. Colonel Mohammed Butti Al Shamesi Chief of the Relations and Guidance Section noted that the college's administration is keen to recognise and honour female applicants' in recognition of their efforts and contributions to police work in quest of further progress and prosperity.
