Russian President to Visit China


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Russian President Vladimir Putin will embark on a visit to China on Wednesday to take part in commemorations marking the 70th anniversary of the end of World War Two and the allied victory over Japan.

During his two-day visit, Putin will hold a number of bilateral meetings with Chinese partners and leaders of other states, the Russian president's top foreign policy adviser Yuri Ushakov told journalists. Putin will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping, on the sidelines of commemorative events on September 3 and during the Russian-Chinese talks.

The sides will sign a series of bilateral accords after talks, according to Russia's (ITAR-TASS) News Agency. During their meetings, Putin and Xi will focus on a wide range of bilateral issues.
