Yemen: We Care donations reach more than AED52 millio

ABU DHABI 2nd September 2015 (WAM) -- The Emirates Red Crescent ERC has announced that the total contributions received so far for the benefit of the "Yemen: We Care" donation campaign that was launched last Sunday has reached more than AED52 million.

The ERC campaign comes as part of the stance of the United Arab Emirates with the Yemeni people providing help to nearly 10 million people who are affected by the crisis taking place in Yemen.

The campaign comes under the guidance of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and with the instructions of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and is being followed up by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Ruler's Representative in the Western Region and Chairman of the ERC as part of the stance of the United Arab Emirates with the Yemeni people providing help to nearly 10 million people who are suffering in the crisis.
